Bulgarias Economy in 2008

Bulgarias Economy in 2008The economist is an expert who tomorrow will know why the things he predicted yesterday didn't happen today.”
This Dr. Laurence Peter’s maxim has no reference to Bulgaria.

Due to the stable economic growth during the past few years and the predictable macroeconomic environment it could be predicted with good belief what comes next. At least for the new 2008.

Optimism and stability. This is the shortest prognosis for developing of the Bulgaria’s Economy in 2008. The economic growth will remain stable and during the new 2008 year it will be about 6.4-6.5%, expect the Bulgarian and foreign analyzers. The factors that actuate the economy are the capital made in the economics, breeded by the investment activity in the country, as well as the fresh resources from the EU funds. The business is also optimists and the prognoses of the Bulgarian contractors are for a good development of their companies. The branch that will make the best progress in 2008 are the finances and real estate sector , consider the Bulgarian macroeconomists. This will support the big construction, which will receive stimulus and resources as well from the structural funds of the EU.The industry will continue its ascending development due to the high prices of the materials, and also due to the increased external and internal demand. There are reserves in tourism and this sector will continue its smooth growth.

\r\nHere are some of the most dynamic sectors in Bulgarian economics: Finances, IT sector, Advertisement, Energetic, Telecommunication, Real estate and Tourism.

What we should expect of real estate and tourism sectors in 2008?

Real estate: Smoothly raising
The economists might have never known the growth of the prices, but they are for sure right about one fact in the real estate sector – it is a classic “pendulum market”. Together with the securities market it has a bent for reaching sporadically one extreme to the other, because of the fact that real estate market is moved by a large number of unprofessional participants, where each success and jump in the prices transforms in expectations for a new success and makes the supply grow.
The atmosphere of 2008 is that the pendulum will calm down and the movements will be considerably smoother. The participants and analyzers in the sector believe that the market comes out of its omnivorous phase.

Tourism: Òhe Bulgarian becomes important
The construction in the Bulgaria’s tourism will continue in 2008 as well. The last free territories at the Black Sea coast are going to be constructed – from the north to the south. Probably the building of hotels will be retarded, but the apartment complexes construction will get more intensive.Especially intensive will be the construction in the “Far north” – next to Dobrudzha region, where some new golf course are going to be developed. Except the three existing golf courses in the country, there are five more under construction. The golf tourism is a way to “raise the supply” in the higher price end and to “overjump” the season tourism.
The mass tourism will gradually move to the South Black Sea coast, where the weather is warmer and the bigger hotel supply reduces the prices. The number of the individual visits is expected to get higher in contrast to the group package trips…
